  • Welcome to my here today

My name is Melissa Squires.. What I do is to capture frames of you that show your real true inner shining rock star self. It isn’t about being someone else, dressing some certain way and you don't need any secret sauce, you are what makes YOU and wonderful and interesting and special. My images reflect the beauty, joy, and inner soul of my subjects, and the moments they inhabit.. these images are forever.

Photography is how I express myself, how I see, how I celebrate who we are today.

My son is my breath and my husband is my life. I will be quite satisfied when I am 80 if I have loved them well and taken some amazing photographs along the way.

celebrate the spring

it rained today, wonderful cool (kinda chilly) spring rain and this week in snatched moments I tried to capture a bit of the daily things, the beauty and stillness around me.

The camera was a crazed lucky spur of the moment ebay bit of destiny and I adore it, it’s nice to just see the simple things through a new eye

Make sure no matter how you do it, as the weather turns and the sky opens up take a few moments to enjoy it.

hailey - really love this work!! amazing.. making me wish to get mine out… just wondering how you do it as mine is a major pain to focus and everything – especially balancing the slr on the top of the black box, that i made to go on top!!

your shots seem so clear and clean!April 15, 2008 – 7:09 am

Kate - Hi, Lis! I’m enjoying your photography a LOT. Loved the pictures of Sadye’s wedding. She still reminds me of your mom so much. But, I love the stilllifes, too. You’ve really got an eye.
