My name is Melissa Squires.. What I do is to capture frames of you that show your real true inner shining rock star self. It isn’t about being someone else, dressing some certain way and you don't need any secret sauce, you are what makes YOU and wonderful and interesting and special. My images reflect the beauty, joy, and inner soul of my subjects, and the moments they inhabit.. these images are forever.
Photography is how I express myself, how I see, how I celebrate who we are today.
My son is my breath and my husband is my life. I will be quite satisfied when I am 80 if I have loved them well and taken some amazing photographs along the way.

Nana Clancy - These photos have captured memories of my first grandchild, my only daughter, and her loving husband, that will be embraced for generations that live on. Mellisa God has truely given you such a gift. Like Ella’s Mommy and Daddy, Nana is going to have a very difficult time choosing the ones her heart desires.God Bless you Mellisa.

e.darcy - Oh my, what an amazing set of photos! all so tender and sweet. What i love most about them is that they are all treated so entirely different-they don’t all look the same, they look like they’ve been done on different days.
That seems to be a problem that I have yet to fix with my own-I just can’t adjust light, colour, textures to make them all look individual.
Well done! these are beautiful!July 1, 2008 – 6:51 pm
Ella's mama - YEAH!! I was thrilled to see that you’ve posted some photos! They are so, so beautiful, Melissa. I can’t thank you enough and can’t wait for the rest! Your love for what you do is so apparent, both in the pictures that you take and how you interacted with Ella. You’re awesome!July 1, 2008 – 4:09 pm
