• Welcome to my here today

My name is Melissa Squires.. What I do is to capture frames of you that show your real true inner shining rock star self. It isn’t about being someone else, dressing some certain way and you don't need any secret sauce, you are what makes YOU and wonderful and interesting and special. My images reflect the beauty, joy, and inner soul of my subjects, and the moments they inhabit.. these images are forever.

Photography is how I express myself, how I see, how I celebrate who we are today.

My son is my breath and my husband is my life. I will be quite satisfied when I am 80 if I have loved them well and taken some amazing photographs along the way.

seeing the future or well how I love my bean

Yesterday after spending the day catching up on some administrative tasks, ordering prints and canvases and sorting email Ares and I got a bit of time to ourselves.

Before meeting my sister and his cousins at the park we went to get snacks, macaroni salad and drumsticks for the kids, some gator aid and I couldn’t help it, I wanted to spend a bit more time so we popped into the dollar store to browse around. Ares doesn’t ask for much and there wasn’t much there but for fun we picked out two new pair of summer shoes lol and put them on as soon as we left! He has quite the collection of off brand crocs and flip flops! I don’t usually participate but he picked these pink flats out for me and they are perfect for the water park!

cute huh :)

He’s growing up so quickly, and he’s the only one I got or want.. I just try to make every moment count, be with him in the now and love him most best. He spent the night at his cousins of course and I processed a couple pics, but today, after the wedding, he’s getting a zillion hugs like it or not!

avarhirion - This post, and your flickr description for the same image, is wonderful. As a younger man longing for the day I am married, I am also longing for the day I can be a father, and all that comes with it. It seems that every day is both wonderful and bittersweet… and I long for it so. I am glad you have your bean. I can’t wait for mine.July 26, 2008 – 12:22 pm

Deb - That is EXACTLY what it is all about… at least with our children. You AND your bean are both truly blessed, continue to enjoy your lives together!July 28, 2008 – 6:29 am
