• Welcome to my here today

My name is Melissa Squires.. What I do is to capture frames of you that show your real true inner shining rock star self. It isn’t about being someone else, dressing some certain way and you don't need any secret sauce, you are what makes YOU and wonderful and interesting and special. My images reflect the beauty, joy, and inner soul of my subjects, and the moments they inhabit.. these images are forever.

Photography is how I express myself, how I see, how I celebrate who we are today.

My son is my breath and my husband is my life. I will be quite satisfied when I am 80 if I have loved them well and taken some amazing photographs along the way.

beside the road

He had thistles and burs in his mane, and he kept me company as I was waiting for my sister at the auto shop today. It’s funny, I get busy and then forget to carry my camera around and just shoot what is right in front of me, I’m glad I had it with me today.

jody - …my neighbors have loads of sweet horses. As a young girl I loved horses beyond words. As a grown woman I know how much work they are lol..but they’re still so magical to me.
Great photo’s!October 1, 2008 – 2:07 am

melissa - when I was very little four or so I had two ponies and a neighbor friend and I’d go riding her on this huge white horse and me on a pony :) It’s been years but I think it’s a requirement that little girls go through a horse stage!October 1, 2008 – 9:10 am

tonya - love these all together, so perect with the detail shots that are almost more “complete” than the whole.October 1, 2008 – 11:54 am
