• Welcome to my here today

My name is Melissa Squires.. What I do is to capture frames of you that show your real true inner shining rock star self. It isn’t about being someone else, dressing some certain way and you don't need any secret sauce, you are what makes YOU and wonderful and interesting and special. My images reflect the beauty, joy, and inner soul of my subjects, and the moments they inhabit.. these images are forever.

Photography is how I express myself, how I see, how I celebrate who we are today.

My son is my breath and my husband is my life. I will be quite satisfied when I am 80 if I have loved them well and taken some amazing photographs along the way.

kristen and jason engagement

Kristen and I came up with two ideas for her and Jason’s engagement session the used record store and an orchard. I knew Encore would be the perfect place (and I know the guys in there a bit so I knew they wouldn’t mind) and Kristen and Jason did an amazing scouting job and found the most perfect orchard ever in Manchester!

We really had fun and they are so in love, it shines, they glow in their pictures.

One more thing! I love that Kristen, who blogs over at Wedding Bee, held a poll to pick which colour sweater to wear! The sage was so the right choice with her gorgeous dark hair! Check out the site if you haven’t seen it, it’s really full of great information, so many brides with cool fun names sharing all the details of the whole wedding planning and really the whole journey.
