My name is Melissa Squires.. What I do is to capture frames of you that show your real true inner shining rock star self. It isn’t about being someone else, dressing some certain way and you don't need any secret sauce, you are what makes YOU and wonderful and interesting and special. My images reflect the beauty, joy, and inner soul of my subjects, and the moments they inhabit.. these images are forever.

Photography is how I express myself, how I see, how I celebrate who we are today.

My son is my breath and my husband is my life. I will be quite satisfied when I am 80 if I have loved them well and taken some amazing photographs along the way.

A wonderful shop downtown is opening a bed and breakfast and is featuring three artists for a wine and cheese open house.� I’m one of the artists they asked to participate :)

I’m really thrilled to be asked John and Erika are fantastic and their current shop, The Boulevard Market is amazing. It’s the 15th of May and will be above 102 East Chicago Blvd, 49286.� As soon as I have more details (honestly I have known for a month or so but I am just finishing up trying to pick the work to show, I’ll get the details next :)� ) I’ll get those posted to share with anyone who is interested!
