• Welcome to my here today

My name is Melissa Squires.. What I do is to capture frames of you that show your real true inner shining rock star self. It isn’t about being someone else, dressing some certain way and you don't need any secret sauce, you are what makes YOU and wonderful and interesting and special. My images reflect the beauty, joy, and inner soul of my subjects, and the moments they inhabit.. these images are forever.

Photography is how I express myself, how I see, how I celebrate who we are today.

My son is my breath and my husband is my life. I will be quite satisfied when I am 80 if I have loved them well and taken some amazing photographs along the way.

gotink“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us.” Williamson

I had an amazingly deep, three part post planned the other night in my head as I went to sleep, something about a photographers vision, the heart, the mind and the hand. I may remember more then that later, but I had forgotten most of it by the next morning.

Which brings me to today. Instead of a long post simply a frame I took today while making a lovely leap. I advise everyone to take their big leaps, it is well worth the struggle to get through the fear.

All growth is a leap in the dark, a spontaneous, unpremeditated act without benefit of experience.” Miller
