I am so pleased to have been invited to teach a series of photography classes at the Tecumseh Community Art Center. I will be teaching two classes called the Photographers eye, where we will explore developing your own photographers eye and growing your own style. There will be six sessions with the final class being a critique where attendees will share their favorite piece created during the class.
I am also extremely happy to be teaching a Self Portraiture Workshop I’ve been developing for a while. For me self portraiture has been something that has helped me grow as a photographer, as a person and a woman. I’m really eager to be able to be share my passion for self portraiture and hopefully inspire others to pursue this with their photography.
Classes begin in January :
A Photographers Eye Wednesday 1/12 – 2/16 , 7 to 9pm
A Photographers Eye Wednesday 3/2 – 4/6, 7 to 9pm ( a dslr is required to attend this class session)

(just to add a note… these photography classes are not for professional photographers, I am not covering anything to do with a operating a wedding and or portrait photography business. I’m just really hoping to encourage and help others to explore their world and express themselves though photography,. ;)
(Tecumseh is just about 40 minutes from Ann Arbor and almost exactly 1 hour from downtown Detroit, the center is brand new and really just a gorgeous space to be in, it’s sooo amazing to live in a town where art, from Art walks to art auctions for charity to classes and events are such an important part of everyday!)
