My images reflect the beauty, joy, and inner soul of my subjects, and the moments they inhabit.. these images are forever.

Photography is how I express myself, how I see, how I celebrate who we are today.

My son is my breath and my husband is my life. I will be quite satisfied when I am 80 if I have loved them well and taken some amazing photographs along the way.

suyao and steven . engagement session . grand rapids

I don’t know if going to Grand Rapids when I live in Michigan can be considered a destination session :) I booked Suyao and Steven’s wedding almost totally over email (we spoke for maybe three minutes on the phone) but I knew we would be the perfect fit. I was totally right! She asked if I’d shoot their session in GR and I was all for it, I’d lived here once when I was about seven years old and it was so fun to get to drive up and meet them and have them take me on a walk-a-bout to their favorite streets and places! The wedding will be at the Meijer Gardens and that will be something special too! I can’t wait, but in the meantime here are two amazing people in love, and I got to celebrate it!
