You know what I’ve heard a lot of recently.  I’ve heard some people talking about wanting smaller weddings, and there has been a buzz around this because over the years weddings have gotten to be these behemoth things, there are thousands of pages about design, planning, photography and well then there is the pinterest boards.  Sometimes I get emails from brides and grooms and they actually will apologize about looking for a photographer for their “small” wedding.  I always say the same thing, it’s YOUR wedding, 20 guests, 300 guests it’s still a moment, a day, a marriage, a wedding, a gathering that will happen only once in your lifetime and it still is deserving of beautiful photographs. Large or small a wedding is more then the sum of it’s parts, it’s the experience of celebrating this new union and it’s awesome.

It’s about two people in love, promising to be with each other, support each other and love each other through thick and thin.  The people at the wedding, be it just the witness’s or the entire extended family and friends are there to celebrate and there is no right or wrong amount.
