Katie, Darrell and I spent the day inChicago, not only hitting some of the places that are “must haves” but stopping in pretty places, and hidden corners and enjoying the humm of the city (and some traffic too).  I am so so excited about Darrell and Katie’s wedding and so so glad that I got to be there to help them explore and relive their favorite places in a city they love.

We explored the city, focusing more on Jessica and Georges hang outs then local attractions.  They made me see the city I’ve never lived in as a home.  Can not wait to celebrate their wedding day with them at Georges family farm.  Soon!

It’s the first day of spring today but it FELT like the first day of spring the other day when Katie, Tim and I went out and photographed their engagement session.  It was so fun to hang out with them, get to meet their amazing model of a puppy and jaunt about town.  Thank you Katie and Tim I am so excited for your big day!

It was total synchronicity that Nicole and Rich and I were able to set up a time while I was in New York for just two days and I was able to have the distinct pleasure of photographing their engagement session!  They are getting married next year! Nicole and I have stayed in contact on fb since her friend Rhona and Justin’s wedding, was it two years ago already??  I’ve gotten to know her online and loved getting to know her better in real life (she is an amazing and wonderful person! So is Rich for that matter!)

It was beyond fabulous meeting you on your home turf and getting to see you both right on the same spot that Rich proposed!  Yay NYC, Yay Nicole and Rich, Yay love!!!
