I love one amazing image of course, but I love even more when a group of images come together to tell a story.  Chrissy and Steven’s engagement session came together and feels to me like a little short film.. they are voracious readers and what a better place to tell their story then the library where Steven had his first job when he was fifteen.  here is a little bit of their story.

A cold day in December but we stayed warm.  Congratulations Abby and Carl on your new life together, you guys are amazing!

Seriously the first half hour photographing Kristine and Justin I was just hanging on, trying to keep up with their laughing, and their jokes and their amazing vibrant energy… today is their wedding and I am so excited to be part of helping them celebrate, congratulations you two see you in  a couple hours!

Dan is a musician and Kirsten has her own yummy business Fresh Chef Detroit and their favorite spot in Detroit is Cliff Bells, which is where we headed after shooting a few frames in their backyard and the park around the corner.  I wasn’t expecting Dan would get to serenade Kirsten but Cliff Bells were amazing in letting us shoot and I’m so happy I captured the moment and cannot wait for their wedding next year! thank you both so much for letting me into your world.
