blink and the summer is over and he’s going into the first grade.. goodness but I love him so much. and you wouldn’t guess he really doesn’t like having me photograph him :) here are a few frames from the last month or so… this is why I’m so very thankful for a camera. If I do my job right he’ll be off in a few years and not need us so much but we have these to stop time.

I’ve been looking forward to Sharon and Gerald’s wedding since I met them at Grace and Alec’s wedding :) They are fantastic, and when I discovered the reception was going to be at Detroit Modern Art Museum I was even more excited. Beautiful, full of art and friends and dancing and family, just a few things to describe their day. Thank you Sharon and Gerald for letting us be part of it.

behind the curtain

there is so much going on behind the curtain as it were, we’re heading into my busiest month this year and I have so much to share, a spit and polish to the brand and of course the new space (I get the keys this weekend) just peeking in to say the blog is slowing down a bit but the action is hotter then ever…

This is Tyler, I shot his mom’s maternity and his newborn portraits. He’s growing up beautifully, what amazing things I get to share wow.

Ah there is nothing like a pre show warm up to your wedding images like the portrait booth. Sharon and Gerald’s wedding was beyond beautiful, right downtown Detroit at the Museum of Modern Art. I’ll post the wedding up here soon but the portrait booth rocked my socks too.

random trivia : this is the first portrait booth where we have had a successful pryamid!

At their engagement session I learned that they bring light where ever they go. Laura and Erics wedding was no exception to that, light and love shined and illuminated a perfect day. I was also so excited about their venue, the Blue Dress Barn, because I’d heard so many amazing things about it, and it was the perfect place for their wedding! Laura and Eric, thank you for letting us be there to celebrate with you.
