It isn’t every day you get to photograph your own sister getting married. Sadye and Barry were married in a small intimate ceremony last weekend. The home was beautiful, the weather was gorgeous (though a bit cold, they were so in happy I don’t think they felt it at all ) and I usually start crying once or twice during a wedding, this one I started to cry about a dozen times! Even the officiant started to cry a couple times. It was a wonderful wonderful day.
I love you both so much, congratulations and may all your days be filled with joy and patience.
BettyMelissa this is your best wedding yet. Love the processing, the fisheye shots are great, the single shots of Sadye and oh just all of them. Pin sharp and perfect b&w’s.
Such a glamorous couple – Sadye chose the perfect style. :)
Kim ScarboroughSadye wore a black wedding dress? Dang that girl has style.
Great pictures, as always. I agree with Betty. Your pictures of your sister were always my favorite.
susan100% agreement with Betty. M, if I were going to shoot weddings, this is how I would want them to turn out. I love all these, I can’t even pick a favorite. I’m a little envious too, that I wasn’t able to shoot the event. :( Great work.
tonyaso beautiful and touching, Melissa. I can see your love in every shot! Everything about them is perfect from the style to (of course) the technical side (I wouldn’t expect anything less). I love how much you love her and hope my daughters are as close one day (I think they are but they aren’t appreciative of it yet).

AllisonMelissa, I am blown away by these images!!!! There is a wonderfully gossamer feel, slightly goth and so bursting with emotion. Their love is palpable and the way you’ve captured it is magnificent. Such a unique and edgy sweetness. Congratulations to your gorgeous sister (and her husband and those children!), and congratulations to you for the brilliantly emotive and beautiful documentation of their wedding day.
