something different or how ares decides to cut his hair and it’s documented a la the kennedys

Okay I have a ton of stuff to blog and this has already been a busy week but I wanted to share the big news… I won’t lie, I got a touch teary before and a bit teary on and off for a few days but Ares decided to get his hair cut… He’d been growing it out for over a year and he had hair that I am not kidding you looked better with snot, dirt and pizza sauce in it then mine does five minutes after leaving the hairdresser.

But probably equal parts tired of being called “little girl” and tired of dealing with it as the summer temps reached the nineties he asked, we gave him a few days to change his mind and then I called my friend Pam who is the most talented artistic hairdresser in the world (she works in Ann Arbor right down town at Salon Vertigo ) and she and Greg came out and did it for us.

I can’t imagine he’ll have any confidence issues, seriously it’s like a rockstar changing looks, his favorite album playing, a stylist coming to the house, being videotaped and photographed lol.

A few pics… (you can see my camera poking in frame in the video)

I kept the first lock and we left the rest for the birds and their nests.  It did take me a few days but I love it now, I still miss the long hair, but wowza it’s nice to be able to see his face all the time :)

I still keep a blog, it's consistently regularly updated but not often. I like it because I can go back almost 10 years and see how I've grown and changed as an artist and how my studio has changed along with me.

Sharing my latest work both personal and commercial. Leave a comment or say hello :)
